Default 4" Spindles to Level truck??

Hi All,

I recently purchased an 05 QC/SB LS Hemi. I know it is entirely my fault for not doing enough homework but I did not realize that struts were not used until '06. I want to level the truck but I really do not want to use the coil spring spacers. I would much rather use something that will not wear out or break down over time. One of my concerns is that according to this website, (http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/CSCDX2.html) the suspension was designed in a way that the shocks are the only thing that limits front end suspension travel. So as a result they do not advocate the use of longer shocks. I like the idea of replacing the springs and using the ones they offer, but they say that the springs do not give the same lift for Hemis.

So then I found this tonight:

Ok, this sounds great, EXCEPT FOR THE PRICE....

Does anyone here have experience with the spindles and is there a company that produces these for a lower price? I have not been able to find them much cheaper...

For those of you that have used the coil spring spacers... How long have you had them? Have you noticed that after a period of time your front end has come back down a bit?

I just want to do this right the first time. Not saying I necessarily want to spend $700 or more for spindles, just looking for input.
