Hi, newbie here. I just got a 1500 with the nav, with no CD (dealer is looking for it) and I have no clue how to use the nav system. I saw it was labled a DVD, but a DVD doesn't work in it. So, is there a owners manual for the unit? The truck owners manual doesn't even show the radio in it. I have no clue on the CD' for the nav. What CDs work in this unit? Is it a multi CD unit?

1 more, I saw on the Dodge site a satelite unit that looks like it plugs into the radio. Does this work with this unit, and does it eliminate the need for CD upgrades?

 

It will play normal music cd's (not mp3 cd's). The only DVD format it will read is the map disc (it's a form of DVD, but not like normal video DVD's).

 

Thanks for the info. Is it a single CD or multi-cd? Is there a seperate manual for this thing? Also, what DVD do I need for the nav system to make it current?

And I thought Apaches were bad with the electronics....
