Sick and tired of cleaning all the bugs off of my rad, as the OEM grille inserts let toooo much garbage through. Wanted a unigue grille insert(no skulls or flames, or honeycomb) saw this on Ebay, and need your folks opinion

I have the same complaint. I like the one you found. Buy it, throw it on, and send some pics!

looks nice, not something i would do, but i like it. and if bugs are that much of a problem, look into putting a screen behind the grille, where every so often you could simply hose it off or just cut another piece and put it in again, being how its so cheap

That grill looks really good. Not so sure how much more crap it'll stop, but it'd deffinatley look great.

someone asked about that same grill a few months ago, and everyone shot it down. now its the opposite.

i'm with mmstar. if you are only buying it to stop bugs, use the screen idea instead, it'll work a whole lot better. if you are just looking for an excuse to buy a new grill...that grill is an excellent bug stopper!

Haha, yea, I agree.

I looked at that same grille insert today, but I'm not sure if I want it, because up-close on the pictures I saw, they didn't look that cool, but sweet far away. The main reason is because the Ram head is pushed too far apart.
But, as they've all suggested, the screen is a lot better. My grandpa has one on his Chevy between the grille guard and grille, and he has a completely clean radiator. While they are two different trucks and styles of grilles, it still helps. In fact, I'm still thinking about getting a new grille, and still placing some screen back there.

Yea the "Bugs" are really my excuse(but don't tell the Misses ) for getting a more unique look. For the bugs I have a SS screen that I am going to fit right in front of the Rads, so I can wash that off.

Oh yea Pics will follow, when I have all my mods complete, as I have really appreciated all the Pics I have seen of your folks mods
