no need whatsoever to be a criminal

just pick up the cell phone and call your neighbor
and ask permission to use his battery under emergency circumstances

you must treat your neighbors different than I was taught to treat mine

both in NC and FL
after a hurricane you find neighbors looking after neighbors
in a way that makes an impression on you

Yeah its pretty cool with most neighbors when there is no power.

I have a little 2500W gen and I'll get my fridge cold and house warm then let a neighbor do the same and soon they start bringing over gas.

I have some long extensions and some of them do too.

I can only power one house at a time with heat, some lights and fridge, but it works out.

I have a little 400W inverter in the truck. Was just for some tools in the field. But it will run some lights and even a furnace, so if need be that gets into play too.
