No, I didn't and am not getting a new hood. But my grandfather is getting one on his truck, because it got kinda wrecked up. So on his truck, he has the chrome billet like Dodge OEM grille, and I'd kinda like to get one like that. The accident on his truck is definitely going to require a new hood. The chrome on the grille is destroyed, but the inserts are still good.
So what I'm wondering, is if when you buy a new hood, do they come with the grille inserts? Because I'd like to buy his, and he doesn't care about the inserts, or I don't believe he would have a preference. Either way, he'd have to order a new grille, because it got crushed in the one corner, and couldn't be used, and the insurance will replace it either way.
So, new grille with the new hood, or not?

 

Hoods don't come with the any part of the grill. The grill simply unbolts from the old hood when replacing. The grill will have to be ordered separately and specified which one you would want.
