SPEED BUMPS- Rear end noise?

Default SPEED BUMPS- Rear end noise?

Going over speed bumps around 10mph get a rear end noise. Any ideas?

Try cranking on your rear spare tire.
They sometimes get loose.
Also, a rear tailgate or tonneau bouncing can cause a knocking etc.

I've had the same noise since the truck was new. I can't figure out what it is. I've cranked the spare tire up, that wasn't it. Maybe I'll take the tailgate off and check that.

check to make sure the weld on your tail pipe didnt break and isnt banging around. This happens espeacially if you have after market pipes. Check to make sure the Ubolts on your leaf springs arent coming loose. or try spraying wd40 on the leaf springs.

I just did the WD 40 thing socaliallstar82 when I reinstalled my rear axle after fitting a Detroit TruTrac and my truck definately quietend down.
