swapped out lash adjusters now ....how is this gonna cost me ?

Smile swapped out lash adjusters now ....how is this gonna cost me ?

OK,

I did a dumba$$ thing I worked on my truck over the period of a week undid the batteryand left it unhooked for like 4 days . Now I dont have speedo, my abs and brake warning light are on the a/c doesnt work. I guess I have to have it reprogrammed now ? how much is that gonna cost ?

Try resetting the pcm first. once you have the pcm reset, turn the key to engine "on" without starting it and allow the pcm to recognize the different busses for the various components that are computer controlled---3 minutes--maybe, then shut it off for 30 seconds, then try starting it up. I really don't understand why it wouldn't be recognized unless you pulled some wires apart and forgot to reconnect.

The battery being disconnected isn't the problem...the memory is flashed based and won't be deleted from lack of power. That's like saying your ipod will lose it's songs when the battery dies...doesn't happen.

Check your battery connection and make sure your making good contact... clean the post if possible and re-tighten it back up.
