Default Fuel spray during normal fillup??? HELP!!

I have 06 1500 with the 35 gal tank. When i go to fill it up and click the handle so it stays open, it does not shut off at the right time or there is something wrong with my filler neck, cause it sprays out all over the side of the truck and the ground. So i stopped filling it up all the way. Any suggestions on a fix or what the problem might be. The dealer said they could not find anything wrong with it. Go figure.....HELP!!!:

Seems to be a common problem...mine does it too. A few people on here had it fixed and they said the dealer had to replace the tank and filler neck.

Mine doesn't do it when I slowly pump it....you can try that until you can bring it to the dealer.

I had the same problem on my 04. The dealership adjusted the angle of the fuel neck and I haven't had the problem again. Good luck! With the price of fuel you dodn't want to loose a drop.
