Default Thoughts on lift

Hey, i'm new to this forum but i read some of the topics and seems like you guys are real good about answering questions. So i've got an 08 ram 1500 2wd. I'm a 16 year old teenage guy therefore i want to lift it like your average high schooler. But i don't have the money for a suspension lift. This is what i'm considering doing:http://store.fatbobsgarage.com/share...t=products.asp
Above is a link to a 2'' front lift leveling kit with extended pro comp shocks for a pretty good deal. In addition to leveling it, i want to add a leaf spring to the rear.

So that would mean a 2 inch lift in the front with the leveling kit and a 2 inch or so lift with the spring. I have a friend who owns a body shop so i can get cheat installation so that isn't a big deal. But that added up is only 250$. Is there anything totally wrong about doing this? There may be, i just don't know, i'm new to the market. Am i better off waiting and saving for a 3'' PA body lift and a leveling kit?

thanks
