Ok so i know there was a post on this before, but it dosnt really help me much, as far as i know the only bolts holding the headlight in place is 2 in the front which are in plain view when you open the hood and one in back which you have to remove the rubber grommet type plug in the back in the fender well, 3 bolts in total...is there any special way or clips that have to be removed or anything before they will come out? i cant seem to get it out and dont really want to force it
After you get the 3 bolts off, the headlight just pulls straight out. There are 2 sort of clips holding it in. Just pull on it enough and it'll pop right out.
I was trying that yesterday and the light seemed like it was stuck. I had the nut and two bolts out. I was afraid I was going to break it so stopped. Now I know.
They are really stuck in there good. You just gotta pull real hard. Might want to put something on the bumper so you dont scratch the paint when it comes out.
alright il try that when i get home tonight, i got my oracle halo kit yester and am very excited to get it put in, im going to attempt to do it myself with a heat gun rather then put the lights in the oven, il just take my time with it and hopefully within a few days il have some pics posted up
Yea the third is actually in the wheel well and has a little access hole in the plastic. Mine was completely rusted and ended uo breaking on one side even after pb blasting it. Be careful
