3500 MegaCab Rear Air Vents (or lack of)
Hi
We purchased a 3500 mega cab Laramie Ram at the end of may.... we have been dealing with the dealership since then over the fact that the manual shows a rear air vent behind the center console... but there is none in the truck... we noticed it after our first trip - when we had 4 people in the vehicle -- i was sitting in the back and noticed there was NO air...nada... and i noticed no vents... then i put my hand under the front seat -- no air movement there either. today the dealership called and told me that the higher ups at Chrysler made a decision after printing the manual for 08 models that they would not provide air vents in the bench (40/20/40) model... only bucket seat (console model).
anyone have any ideas how i can get air flow on this truck into the back area.... it was suggested i 'crank' the air on high and point the center vents to the back (on the dash) -- but that makes it EXTREMELY uncomfortable for the passengers in the front - they freeze and the ones in the back still get hardly any air.
thanks

You might do a little seaching and see how different the seat is vs. the year previous? Then search for a totaled truck and swap out the system. Another option is to look at running you own vent. If they just changed the seat itself odds are the path way is still there, then you split it out or something? Basically run your own plmbing. I am afraid it might no be a real simple fix.
