Vararam Cold Air Intake

Vararam Cold Air Intake
Hey guys, I am looking at getting a Vararam "ram air" intake.
I have the 4.7, so first, have any of the 4.7 guys/gals installed a vararam on your truck?
second, any of the hemi guys out there that may have installed one of these, do you have pictures of the bracket that mounts the intake to your throttle body?
I talked to the guys at vararam and they tell me that everything is the same, except where it hooks to the throttle body, that the bracket they provide will be useless on the 4.7 and I will have to fab something to make it work. What size throttle body is on the hemi?
Any info / pics are greatly appreciated.

as further proof that most CAI claims are
more like PT Barnum 'sucker bait'
check out the latest advertisements in the Diesel magazine
from Banks Engineering
where they 'real world' tested various CAI's for diesels
on the road,
with full power,
up a steep hill
most of the CAI's
had higher temperatures and lower pressures
than stock
Is the highly expensive Vararam any better?
I doubt it,
but if you do buy one,
buy from a retailer who let you return it
"no questions asked at any time"
because if you do test it out after installing
the odds are high
it will only make more noise
.... especially if you test it after it has had
2,000 to 4,000 miles of use and dust
that quickly clogs up washable style filters

I put one on my wifes Vette. It made a BIG difference. Difference you can feel. I have used just about every CAI under the sun for my cars and trucks. This one is the only one where I feel I got more than my money's worth. Definately the most badass intake... I will absolutely be installing one of these on my HEMI!!!!
