Tire Pressure Light: 08 Ram 1500
Pete,
Now that you checked all tires (Im assuming your spare tire as well), turn your truck on, let the light come up, turn your key off and back to the accessory position, pump your gas peddle about 3 times and sit for about 10 sec. then turn it back on. That should reset the computer as if your change oil light was blinking. See if that helps.
Good luck.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have tried it all and the darn bulb is still on.
Earlier today i stopped at a dealer and they checked the tire pressure, made some adjustments and then told me to drive it for 5-10mins and come back if it still on. I drove away for 15mins and the pressure light was still on. I took it back and left it there this time..I hope its nothing major.
Will keep you all posted as i know.

Well guys yesterday evening i picked up the truck and they told me information that made no sense at all. They said the computer had the threshold set to 255 PSI and therefore it had to be set back to 35 PSI. Supposedly by doing that the problem was fixed.
To me this raises a few questions:
1. How did it get to 255 PSI, this wasn't a problem before ? (Its new, about one month old)
2. Is the threshold even a settable parameter ?
Being the **** engineer i am, it seemed to me they just disabled the system all together. To verify this hypothesis, i dropped the pressure on one tire to 29PSI and drove the truck the whole day today, guess what the light never even came on ?
I am a bit angered at the moment, not sure if i can say or do anything to get this done properly ?
Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Now take the truck back and tell them now the tire pressure monitors doesn't work. It wouldn't suprise me that they didn't disable the system. Leave one at 20 psi and drive it there.

I had a piece of steel go through my tire the other day. Went to the tire shop and had the put my spare tire tire on my reguler rim and bought a cheap tire for my spare rim. I seen that there is a tranmitter mounted to the rim around the valve stem, my spare does not have a tranmitter on it. My guess may be the one of your transmitter is messing up, it probably emmits a frequency that you truck is tuned to, when the tire goes below a certain pressure it make the light come on, like a pressure switch. My light came on well before for the tire went flat, I got out very shortly after the light came on to discover my prize, a free piece of steel about 1 inch X 3 inches X 1/8th inch.
Take your truck, pretty much flatten one of your tires, near an air source, and see if the light stays off. If it does re-air your tire, go to dodge and make them let you watch them fix it and verify proper opperation of the warning system.
