Question on lift and wheels HELP :-@
Ok I’ll try to make this fast. I don’t really have anyone to ask so that’s why I’m posting.
Any comments would be vary appreciated.
If you can answer any of the questions that would be great.
Just a few (ok a lot) questions about lifting and wheels.
I have a 2004 1500 QCSB 4x4 5spd
1. Is the Rough Country's 4"-5" Suspension lift kit OK
a. Is it sturdy or is it going to break latter on down the road (I do very little off roading)
b. Will it level the truck or will it still have a rake look?
c. Can I install it myself? ( I have a garage and a reasonable amount of experience)
d. Will it work with a manual tranny?
2. I’m going with 325/65/18 Load "D" /
a. What size wheel do I need (spacing? off set? I have no idea)
b. What does “D” stand for?
c. These will fit with a 4” lift?
3. Has anyone dealt with http://www.rimzoneonline.com/index.html
a. Are they legit
b. If I get the “wheel and tire” combo can I just bolt them on when I get them?
That’s a start. Thanks in advance for the info I greatly appreciate it.

I'm sure Hammer can shed more light on your questions, but here's my 2cents.
1. Rough Country makes a decent lift. Just not as flashy. Have a friend with this same kit on his '03, only his is a single cab. He has no complaints, works great.
a. hes had it on i believe for about a year and a half now, no squeeks or knocks.
b. I think with the 3" block in the rear it will give it a level look. I think with the 2" it gives it a bit of a "baja look".
c. My friend and his buddy installed this lift in his garage in about 7 hours. He has alot of experience with cars/trucks.
d. Dont see why it would cause any problems with a manual transmission. Only time you really need to worry abou that is with body lifts.
2a. probably 18x10. Most manufacturer's recommend 8-12" rim for that tire. 12" is getting a little wide and will cause you problems down the road. Always been told, unless you are doing some serious modification, 10" rim is about as wide as you wanna go.
b. D means it has an 8ply sidewall and max psi of 65lbs.
c. yes, they will fit under a 4" lift...

... As for the rim zone... no clue what so ever. Best of luck, hope this helped.

should be able to do it yourself if you have experience, but get some help, and a lot of beer.
yes, trans doesn't matter, you're lifting it too.
10" wheel sounds just right to me, 9 would work...but thats on the edge, wear will be bad, and why do it if you're buying rims anyway? you want 5-5.5" (139.7mm) bolt pattern. 5.5" backspacing is stock, but you'll need more with the 12.5" tires, another inch should be plenty. rims with that spacing will be hard to find, so you'll probably end up with wheel spacers.
