Tonight while drinkin a few cold ones and listening to haggard tunes i was installing a new wicked cool airaid intake on my 05 hemi 1500, when i got all the factory parts off i could notice a strong oil smell from the throttle body well i finished up and checked my oil and sure enough a quart low, now i am running the flashpaq tuner on the 91 octane setting, airaid intake gibson exhaust. Truck only has 33,000 miles on it and it only gets drove about 900 miles every 2 months, just had oil change a month ago and i am running royal purple full synthetic 5w-20 and a k and n oil filter, crawled all over truck and no apparent leaks and truck runs super awesome anyone with any help i wold be glad to buy a could one for anytime

 

Are you sure it is using it? Sounds like you did not do the change, maybe it was low from the get go.

If you bought the truck new do not worry, has a 7/70 powertrain. I have not heard of this being a common problem.

 

no i did the change myself and everything was cool, and truck is not driven hard at all,well really not driven much either
