Hey fellas: Been lurking hear awhile, great site and a wealth of knowledge. My ram quad cab rear drivers side door wont lock. Use remote or at 15mph, all other doors lock/unlock as they should. Makes no noise, nuthin. Replaced whole assembly, brand new, still doesn't work. Is there a lock module on truck, or is there a connector whithin the harness somewhere. When you open door, the dome light does not come on either? That is why i am assuming a harness? Am I chasin my tail, this seems too easy not to fix?

Did you replace the door latch assembly?

 

Yeh, replaced door latch assy. Found problem in harness where passes thru truck body in flex rubber. Seems like that has alot of pinch in it. Two wires were broke, door latch wire, solenoid wire. Now need to sell latch assy???
