I understand your fustraition. I bought my first brand new vehicle, which was my truck, 2 month ago. I had it less then a week and a passenger of mine opened the passenger door all the way open and brushed the door against a fence. It scratched the paint on the back edge of the door. I went to Advance Auto and bought some clear Door trim that goes around the back edge of the door, i know ...clear... but my truck is white with no chrome. At least I put the first scratch in it setting my tool box in the bed. It didn't matter anyway because I'm going to get a spray in bed liner soon, i hope.

And always do the first dent and scratch your self but in a hidden place like underneath the cab.

WHY? from backing up into it? Atleast it's your bumper and not your qtr panels from turning to hard. I was backing up into my garage...very tight...and the tires were up on the smooth concrete. Well anyways, the pass side fender caught the dorr edge molding and slide the trailer into my rear quarter..ugghhh. I was backing in with my driver door open and the trailer was empty so it slid pretty easy. I knew it was tight, but not that tight! I have a teeny tiny ding right on the outer edge of the rear quarter. It's 2" in front of the bumper and right on the crease so it's hardly even noticeable unless you get right on it. Luckily I knew I was close and was goin super slow. If only there was weight on the trailer, nothing would have happened.
