Hey everyone, I'm planning on putting a Flowmaster 50 Series HD Muffler under my Hemi. I've read on Flowmaster's website that these are warranty compliant, what I would like to know is; will I void my warranty if I cut the resonator out?

 

Only if they can show the cut out resonator directly caused the failure you are claiming warranty work for. Very, very unlikely...

 

I installed the Gibson Super Truck Exhaust on my 07. Before I did, I contacted Dodge (the headquarters) directly to ask if this would void the warranty. They responded that while they do not recommend the use of aftermarket parts, they cannot void your lifetime warranty due to the installation of aftermarket parts, including exhaust. I just unbolted the exhaust from the muffler all the way to the tail pipe, and installed my new exhaust. I then stored my orginal exhaust, just in case I trade in the truck for a newer model.
