Default Added Functional RamAir Hood

Added the functional RamAir Hood about 2 weeks ago and thought I would put it up here. Went on relatively easy and the color is matched beautifully. Ordered it from ramairhood.com and they say 4-6 weeks for delivery...it was more like 8 weeks, but that would be the only "issue."

Pretty smooth ordering from that site and customer service was pretty good as well. Overall, real happy w/ the purchase.

Just thought Id share...

Very Nice!! Have you noticed any difference in power? Or sound?

Thanks! I have definitely noticed a difference in both power and sound. The sound is pretty cool as I have it coming (now) from both the front w/ the hood and back w/ the magnaflow exhaust. And with power, definitely feel a difference, not necessarily 'off the line', but moreso when accelerating while already in motion.

I dont think so (not sure how it would as there are grills there too)--this is what they say about water:

Our hoods have a built-in water management system consisting of four (4) built-in water shields to prevent water from getting in. To date, we have not had a complaint of water getting into an intake.

Thanks, guys. Painted Functional Hood w/Air Box & High Flow Filter was about $1400 with the K&N filter upgrade (all came together).
