Has anyone there had any problems with their 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi acting like it is being starved of fuel?Surges at low rpms like its not getting enough fuel.Fuel filter and pump are fine.No engine codes.

 

2 possibilities that i am seeing every day. could be egr valve stuck partially open with carbon. causes the controller to think it is running rich so it pulls the injector pulsewidths way back and leans it out. you could replace teh valve or remove it and clean it. about 1/2 of the time a code will not set. the other possibility is carbon buildup in the throttle body. when the blade is closed the gum sticks the blade to the bore. when you hit the throttle it has to break loose, the truck hesitates then jerks.
