im thinking about buying an 05 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4. my first question is on my 2nd gen it had a light on the dash telling you it was in 4 wheel. Does this truck not have that light anymore? i put it in 4x4 hi and i can feel it go into 4wheel and no lights come on the dash. is this normal or am i not goin into 4x4? Thanks

 

I am not sure why but my 4x4 light has never worked either. I knw my truck (also an 05') is definately going into 4x4 though .....have had to drive it on the beach with 1300lbs in the bed.

 

well im not buyin the truck anyhow, looks like it was in a flood at least window high, the under seats are more rusted than my 00, sand in every crack and crevice, even under carpet, and under door seals, so its going back to dealer
