You might have a bad BJ or tie rod!

Yea that's why i had them do the lift so i could keep everything under warranty. But as I said earlier, my warranty is out of date since July, otherwise I would have taken it to them to fix for free.

I haven't jacked up my truck yet to try to turn the wheels by the tires, i've been busy, so hopefully that will narrow down the problem. I just replaced a tie rod end that was the rubber was split, but everything else looks good. Front end doesn't make any noise, tires have been wearing good. I'm all but convinced it's the gear box. I guess AGR sells an aftermarket superbox, but i haven't heard any opinions on them yet

Ok, update............. I finally got around to jacking up my truck today and turned the front wheels from side to side from the tire...it turned left and right. It took some effort, but i assume that's because of the big tires and wheels being heavy. The problem still exists, the steering wheel won't return to center when i'm rolling, if i turn it while i'm going straight, it will stay in that position. If i turn around a corner, it will return most of the way, except for the last 1/3 of a turn, in either direction. It's weird, because when i'm standing still, and turn the steering wheel left or right slightly, it will spring back to center position, but as soon as i start rolling to about 1 or 2 mph, it will just stay in the position i turn it towards. Could my steering box still be bad even after that test i did? I can't imagine it's the pump, because my power steering is still working fine, it's not whining or anything either.

have you pulled a sample of the power steering fluid, or just simply try flushing it with an OEM rated fluid. Its possible you have some sort of contamination in it. You also may want to look at the Tie rods and see if any are possibly bent causing your geometry to change----using a staight edge. Sometimes even the slightest bend out of factory can cause some really weird problems.

Well i haven't checked to see if anything is bent using a straight edge, i will do that in the morning. I know i didn't hit anything though for something to be bent. It was parked at my shop for a few days, then the next time i drove it, i noticed the problem. I checked the fluid just to see if it was full, but i can check it again. I can't remember what kind of fluid it uses? I know some is clear, some use trans fluid. I'm pretty sure it was clear when i checked it tho. I can try draining it and filling it with new stuff as a last resort. Even though the truck is 3 years old, it only has 13,000 miles on it, that's what gets me, I should have these problems. lol
