i have an 04 ram. i was driving around town with a/c on, i had it switched for blowing out of the vents but a small amount of air is coming out and sounds like the defroster is on. i tried moving the switch in all positions and nothing helped. any ideas guys?

could be the recerc door has broken? remove the glove box then you can see the recerc housing big square opening with a plastic grid. you can stick your fingers in at the bottom of the grid and feel if the recerc door is laying on top of the blower motor. If it is you need to replace the recerc housing you need to remove the dash for that but It's realy not that hard
