yo man...i got 20% on my driver side and passenger side windows and then the very back one. they match the factory back side windows pretty good..ive thought about going darker until night comes...cuz your cant park worth a darn without rollin down the window...esp when you back in like me. and being in tx im already illegal..i was illegal in va before i moved i just didnt care lol. 20% is the most practical i think. maybe 15 but i dont have that. and with 20 the cops really shouldnt bother you..ive passed numerous ones with no problem

I'm thinking about going 15% on the sides and i'll leave the back alone since the back is about 17 or 18%..I was going to do 5% on the back but like people are saying once the windows get tinted it will make the back seem even darker or even at night it will be very dark with 5% so i'll probably do 15 on the sides and leave the back alone

My back 3 are factory tinted and I put 5% on top of that.....and it is way too dark at night. I can barely see anything backing out of a parking space. Would'nt recommend it. Maybe 20% on top of the factory tint would be good.

On my old truck I had 15% on the front doors and 5% on the back. The 5% makes it pretty hard to see at night. I had this combination on this truck for 3-4 years and never had a ticket from it. I have not done my new truck yet still debating on what I want to use.

for those of you who say they only look for sports cars is a load of bull i had 5% percent for about 2 years on a mustang GT and never got pulled over for it once and i had been pulled over several times and night vision isnt bad at all unless you are at the lake with zero outside light you adjust to it easily i dont have any tint right now and i feel like everyone can see me and i dont like it cant wait to get the 5%

if any thing go 10 thats what my brother has and it is the perfect mix

20% on the back passengers would be pretty dark. I put 20 on the very back and its pretty darn dark at night. i really wouldnt go darker than that in the back

I've got 15% on the fronts and it is a fairly close match to the back and rear windows. The 15% was the suggestion of the shop. The back window seems too light and I may get 35% over it to darken it a little more. I've also contemplated getting the windshield tinted at 35%. I sat in the shop's demo car (5% front, sides, and rear and 35% windshield) and I really liked it. He says (his opinion) that the windshield is better at night because all of it's darker (not crazy dark out the front) and so his eyes adjust better.

That may be a line of hooey to get me to buy it, or it might not. My only concern is sticking things to the windshield (radar detector and GPS) probably wouldn't work (or would pull off the tint).

Now tinting your windshield is something the cops will pull you over for. Although I am thinking about getting it done haha. It really helps with the glares
