Default 4x2 Newb looking to level or lift

I have a 2008 2500 HD CTD 4x2 Quad Cab. I want to lift my front end to match the height of the backend. What will get the job done...lift or leveling kit? Is there one for this specific purpose (2 wheel drive 2500)? If not, what height should I be looking for? Would I need any new shocks or other parts on the fornt end beyond the kit?

Any help and/or links that would guide a newb through would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

A leveling kit will do it. A lift is much more expensive. Look for one that gives you 2-2.5" of lift. Most leveling kits do not require new shocks but you might want new shocks.

Yup. You have springs in the front so it will be a spacer that goes between the top of the spring and the spring mount up top. New shocks not needed but your shocks will be extended a little giving you less upward travel. No biggie though. 4x2 lifts are around $800 i believe. Levelers about $120 maybe.
