RAM 2500 suspension
I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel 2WD, love the truck and use it as a daily driver and to pull my 5th wheel for weekend getaways.
I’m looking to make the truck a little more comfortable (lessen the stomach wrenching affects of the super stiff suspension when not loaded) as a daily driver while maintaining it’s tow capacity. I’ve been looking all over the Internet for suspension upgrades that might make my daily commute a little less bouncy. I was thinking that switching out the rear springs or upgrading the shocks might be a good start, problem is I can’t find ANYTHING listed for 2WD only for 4WD models.
Does anyone have any advice or sources? I know I’m “trying” to get the best of both worlds and some compromise will be necessary between comfort and towing capacity
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Pulling a leaf woudl de-rate the truck which I'd rather not do. I was hoping to find some lighter springs along with healper leaves maybe. I looked on bilstein site and they only list shocks for the 4WD not the 2WD.
Welcome to my world =) I have had the same truck for almost a full year now and looking for suspension products has become part of my daily routine. I also use mine primarily for towing and as a daily driver. I have been looking to lift it about 4 or 5 inches just so I can fit a bigger all terrain tire....but to no avail !! Currently the only thing available is damn spacer kits! There are some rear-leaf kits available that might interest you....

But as for the front suspension we are out of luck
(I actually just spoke to someone at Bulletproof Suspension this afternoon and he said they will have something available later this year....but then again, thats what I heard from Fabtech about 10 months ago!)
P.S - Banks Six Gun Bundle is HIGHLY recommended. Power increase is insane and my highway MPG went up too! Right now my motor has 15K miles on it and is getting 20-22hwy (unloaded) and 13-14 towing about 9000lb. And best of all it doesnt void the warranty.

I'm amazed there isnt an airbag kit out yet for the 04 year.
I know what you mean with the ride sometimes, I got back from Little Rock last weekend and the roads in Alabama are horrendous[:@]

Hey, I may have found something!!!
I just ordered a new 2005 2500, and after reading a few forums, found this is a common topic. So I started looking around.
Check out Kore Performance www.koreperformance.com, They have a much better setup for the 2500, than stock. Its not cheap, but if you're REALLY looking for something better, this looks like the best setup so far. I've already decided that the "Chase" setup looks good for my needs.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!
