I lost a cap on a super single on my mixer at freeway speed...ripped off the whole fender and scared the living Bejeebers out of me.

Just Say No to Retreads!

There are very few things that scare me more than semi's losing their tread while on my motorcycle. I think they should be illegal.

I've seen people use retreads for years with no problems. All the problems you guys are talking about are for semi's. Heavy loads and 100 psi are a pretty rough combination at high speed.
My dad lost a cap on his pick-up and destroyed the rear quarter panel as well. Like you say though, off road I would have no problem with them, but highway speeds make me nervous.
