yeah i got 2 antennas with only one hot and i agree with hemipwr the pa is great you can get a nice one at radio shack for like 25 bucks. i have mine mounted right behnid the grill so you can see it coming down the road i thought about on top of the cab but that would be a little eccentric

haha yes!! thank you. thats where i got mine. same price. such a great mod. and that was a good place for the cb on page one..idk if mine will fit there.kinda wanna try though lol

yeah i got the smaller of the 2 from radio shack i think is like 25 watts or something and i took and just mounted it right on the front radiator support i used cable ties instead screws. cable ties work good that is what ive used on several of my friends set ups

i tried to do that but i got the 50 watt so it was too big. so i just drilled screws into the fenders inside the engine. i thought being back there might impede the sound but ooo no..ive scared many a pedestrian haha

on my 99 1500 i had it on the fender right next to my air horns and man did it scream. the engine compartment is a good sound enhancer bc it reflects teh sound like a echo but to get the best sound make sure it is pointed down slightly so it echos of the road too

ya touche. i want some train horns. my friend has them on his ferd with a 5 gallon tank. its sooooooo loud. rediculously loud. but ya...pa is def a must. other drivers can hear it too..which is great lol

yeah but that pa can get ya in trouble my brother was yelling on mine one day and by the end of that day i ended up with a ticket from the police for disturbing the peace or some crap like that...oh well i still have mine and yell on it frequently. only 30 dollars or something not a very good deterant in my opinion

for those of us who run dual antennas make sure that your hot antenna is on the passenger side. your antenna pattern will radiate to the front left of your truck keeping you from shooting into the shoulder and it will shoot you to the other lane

well if ythere is a cb shop near your with a good tech they can do it for you for like 10 or 15 bucks but i dont konw much about the internals
