Default Choice of coolant...

Greetings to you Rammers out there! I've got a question about coolant and I'm really interested to hear your opinions; I brought my 2003 Ram 1500 overseas here to Ukraine for work. There's not such a large choice of coolants for American cars here, but not too bad. How important is the choice of coolant for the 2003 Ram (4.7L)? Any opinions?

Cheers

You can put any kind of coolant you want in there as long as you flush whatever you have in there out. You don't need a synthetic(dexcool). You can use green basic but you cannot mix the 2.

Thumbs up 2 dirtydog and Grey-Ghost

Thanks for your help, fellas. One more thing; what about my choices of power-steering and transmission fluids...?
