My New Tires!
Nitrogen is just like bottled water that you pay $1 per bottle for even though the water can be had right outta the tap. People who say nitrogen makes so much difference in testimonies is hilarious. It's not noticeable to the average guy, but can help with certain situations like moisture inside the wheel and airplane uses.
I didn't even know people were still falling for the nitrogen hype.
Nitrogen being more beneficial is something Jiffy Lube gets old ladies and 16 year old girls to believe and then charges the crap out of them. All of the research I've done states the benefits are theoretical and only slightly practical.

I"m not getting mad at all For the 10 bucks that I paid I think its benniffical for me not to have to worry about checking my tire pressure every 2 weeks when the temps are going from 50 to 20 back to 70. A couple of guys on here use it and have not had a psi vary in almost a year. I think thats worth 10 bucks to me.

No, it really has to do with the size of the molecules. Nitrogen molecules (which make up a little over 70% of air anyway) are larger and more dense. The oxygen molecules are smaller and actually can "leak" through the rubber over a period of time. Also, they "pack" together tighter when cold, so your air pressure will fluctuate greater with the more oxygen molecules that are in your tires.
I don't mess with the nitrogen myself, but because I have air bags on the truck and I change tire pressure at times for "play", I carry a compressor in my toolbox at all times anyway, so it's no big deal for me to adjust air pressure as needed.
There is however, although a small one in my opinion, a benefit to airing up with pure nitrogen.
