i was wondering how i take the material off my 03 quad cab 1500 im looking to replace it with a suede or something but dont see any thing thats holding it on (glue ect) and if i would have to take the little handle off to open it to do so, basically a walk through or hints would help

if its like my solid one, it has staples

 

its got plastic on the bottom side of the lid, and int he middle of the plastic is like a smaller rectangle fabric part, any ideas how to get that plastic off
