Ummmmmm......
Why would you want to TRY to replace your AAM 9.25" axle with a relatively weak 8.5" axle (built for a Jeep no less)? and even more importantly, how in the hell would you expect to fit it?

I wonder how the Dana 60 would work in our trucks!? I know they are heavy as all hell...but they are a 9.75 rear. And tons of aftermarket parts..... I'm not in the market for changing one, but just curious....
My dad had a 77 Powerwagon, 318 4 speed with the dana 60. That rear looks like a Chevy 14 bolt.
