Default Tuners vs warrantys

Will the use of the diablo or superchips tuners void your warranty? Can the dealer tell if you have used them even though you put the stock tune back in the pcm?

I would actually like to know the answer to this too. I have heard some say that there is no way to tell a tuner has been used after the tune has been removed and others say that there is always a footprint left behind by any tuner. Maybe someone who works at a dealership could chime in and let us know.

Aftermarket tuner doesn't void the warranty. What you do want to do, is return the vehicle back to stock everytime it goes in for service incase they reflash the ecu and update it or work on it. Also, it won't cause any "does it void or not" issues. There's no real; way to tell if your ecu has been programmed by a tuner. Most mechanics don't check nor do they care as long as the car runs normal when returned back to stock.
