Need info from bagged '06-'08's
To each their own... I love both the lowered and lifted trucks. I've owned both and both served their purpose. My 98 dakota was dropped 4 aand 6 and had no issues off road. It went anywhere my buddies 2wds did. It's about picking lines instead of driving though ruts.
I'd love to see the trucks all finished up. Congrats on the awards. I'd love to see my truck in a magazine one day but it's hard on a tighter budget. We'll see after I do some airbrushing.

First off, I'm a first time minitrucker, and yes most people hate us, forget them! We ride low, big F-ing deal get over it. Now, I like everyone and all rides because I have them all lol.

Truck that lays body! Can't hate you guys, here's mine!

Truck that's big and bad! Can't hate you dudes, here's mine, and yes I do use it as you can tell.

Damn dragracers!, can't hate you fella's, here's mine. 1,000hp on the juice! Best thing of all, Mopar powered!

New trail rig, just a plain old CJ5, for now lol.
I started this thread because that's a sweet truck and still is. I may be at Tex Mex, but not showing my junk.

i respect the lowered trucks but I wouldn't have one. but a lowered truck is more usefull than lets say a 12"+ lifted truck when the thing is so tall you can't even use the bed. But do you have pictures of the suspension setup with out the bed and the front suspension. Also, please tell me you got a system in that thing.
You can check out pics of the setup on my myspace...the link is myspace.com/jcromby...I have a JL Audio 13w7 on a 1000 JL amp...a JL 4 channel and all JL Highs....with a Pioneer 4100 head unit. Its pretty loud...loud as i'll ever need.
well aftbig i wish i could have commented earlier. im glad you joined this forum and the fight us lowered guys have been trying to gain a lil respect for years and just cant seem to get it very well argued...thanks....thats a sick truck ive seen it in mags and on the tube....id love for you to come to the lowered tech section and help us with the FEW of us that like lowered trucks help other who want to lower theirs.....and to everyone else word of the wise....EACH TO THERE OWN..... yall say tomato i say timaytoe......draggin azz for life.....
Man, these boys were kinda harsh in the beginning won't they? Anyone's opinion aside, everyone has to respect the work and dedication, not to mention the money, that went into aftbig's truck. Then, to find out that he did all the work himself, in a regular ol' garage? That's saying sum'n right there.....
As for MY opinion, I personally dig the slightly lowered rams, like the first guys that posted with the white one/srt rims. (for example). In high school I too had a little Mitsu Mighty Max, "slammed", but in a rigged way. What an annoying truck, 2 1/2% tint, like an 8in windshield banner, spraypainted, spraypainted back glass, flowmaster w/ 5in tip, and low enough to get stuck on the right speed bump, man that was dumb!! Lol, plus, I'm 6ft 260lbs (in highschool at least haha), so I had to sit in the truck sideways, then swing my feet in. Imagine that ride with the rest of the O-line in the back
As also mentioned before, my tastes have since changed a bit. Not that my truck is lifted now, but eventually it will be taller than it is now. But I still have respect for the work and dedication it takes anyone when modding their trucks, to any extent.
P.S. gotta love the pic with the trailer fulla lumber, I haven't/can't do that with my truck, I don't even have a hitch!!

wow how did i miss this all the 4x4 that said that aint a truck can eat ****. that truck looks way better than any lifted truck i have seen on here besides rubberfrogs. aft i like the stance and welcome to DF. ignore the guys with the small member complex
Don't sweat it man...alotta 4x4 guys...he'll even regular truck guys have a misconception about bagged truck. I get "U ruined that truck" on a daily basis. It's clearly an uneducated outlook on lowered truck. Are some lowered trucks useless...sure...but so are some 4x4s. It depends on how you build em. I build trucks to drive and be used. Some people can't understand that trucks like mine are just as functional as theirs...they don't want to. Their opinion is just as dump as they are.
