im looking to paint some parts but not clear coat them right away, will the duplicolor automotive spray paint come out with more of a shine than the krylon fusion or will the both be the pretty much the same

why not clear coat? im personally one that favors duplicolor over krylon. i just like the way it sprays better....but for fusion...what are you spraying?

What type of material are you using it on? Plastic? Metal? If it's unprepped plastic I would use the Fusion, otherwise I tend to lean towards Duplicolor, personal preference though.

I'm thinking of spraying my own fender flares if I ever actually buy them. It'd make it much more affordable than paying a shop.

Paint the parts the day before your friend gets home. If the parts are plastic like Altair asked prior prep the parts and use a self etching primer just to make sure you have the best adhesion possible.
