I am thinking about getting either a Lock n Pop or Pace Edwards, but have a question before I spring for one. After the thing is all wired up, how do you get the tailgate off? I am assuming you must wire from the truck to the tailgate? Is there a wire disconnect so I can get it off after is it wired?

 

you could just put in line quick connectors in there yourself. just splice them in.
