I have a o4 5.7 ram, during p/n revs its governed at 4k, anything over 5800rpm you risk valve float. I put a bulldog power pup programer, intake, and exhaust on, and have recently had the same thing happen to me, complete shut-down at wot. It has only happened that one time, but I am also having throttle body problems(you will know if you have this problem if you have a lightning bolt light that comes on in the right lower hand corner of the instrument cluster). My friend has a 03 ram 4.7 and he has on rev limiter and no problems with this concern. Also remember that the hemi is fly by wire and the 4.7 is still operated by cable. And lastly DO NOT CLEAN A 5.7 HEMI THROTTLE BODY WITH A CLEANER, soap and light water ONLY!!!!!!! it will cause electrical malfunction internaly. Hope i could be helpfull.
