Default Tires what do you think

I just purchased a set of Prodigy tires made by Yokohama tires from American Tire Comp/Discount tires 265/70-17.

I hope I purchased some good tires but I dont know the sales guy said there are a 60000 tire I hope.

This truck is used mostly up on the HWY 65 ot 75 MPH some dirt fire roads not much mite haul my dirt bike 250# 1 or 2X's a month haul the family around most of the time I don't tow with this truck at all.

I realy can't find any reviews on this tire so far do you have any feed back on these tires.

If these tire do last there 60,000 mile I be happy it will be just about time to trade this truck in for a new one by then.

I had the stock tires Michelin M/S 245/70-17's on the truck replaced they had 43,000 miles on them and what I can find out they were a 40,000 mile tire They had some life in them still but not much the old tire were just above the were bars when I got rid of them The right front was ugly it had some cords showing.

Thanks

Since you didn't say what model, I'm guessing it's the Prodigy H/T. That's the only tire I see at Discount's site.

They look like a decent A/S tire. For what you described, and for the $$, not too bad looking, considering I just dropped $1K on tires at Tire Discounters, but they were 285's compared to these being 265's.

How soft are the sidewalls? That's the biggest issue I had with the OEM Goodyears that came on mine. Everytime I took a corner, the front end squealed.

Yes they are the Prodigy H/T the sidewalls seem stiff compaired to the Old stock Michelin they do have a rougher ride to the truck up on the HWY but not bad I could let some of the air out of them to give them a better ride but I want get the most MPG as I can get so I live with the stiffer ride for now.

So far I have 150 miles on them so far seem like a ok tire.

And for $89.00 a tire and 60.000 mile tire + made by Yokohama I give them a try.
