If your going to a set of 35" tall tires on a 4X4 then 4.56's are your ONLY option. They will improve your overall gear ratio and with those 35's you will get better all round performance with the 4.56's then any lesser gear.

I know of one place that has the best prices with FREE SHIPPING coast to coast but Since we are not a site sponsor we are not allowed to say.... LOL

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM

You can check in your glove box for a sticker or look on the rear diff. for a tag. But like stated, with 35s it you don't really want anything less than 4.56 gears.
Moe's Performance, Randy's Ring & Pinion, Air Ram & 4 Wheel Parts all have good reputations for service and price when it comes to getting ring & pinions...

would 3.92 suffice for 35's? ive been wanting to go bigger on my lift but not wanting to spend all the $mulah$ but i have 3.55 now and was thinking about junkyard axles with the stock 3.92's in em, but havnt checked the prices yet and was thinking it would be cheaper going that route than buying new ring and pinions and an install.

You could get by with the 3.92's (the 3.55's would big time suck), but I had stock 3.92's and when I went with a suspension lift and 35's it felt like I went from a Hemi to a V6 under the hood.
Most of the cost of doing gears is the installation, so you won't be saving a good deal on the gears themselves. My advice is to save up and spend the money to do it the right way initially, instead of spending 75% of the money to do it the wrong way...

Hammer's right - save until you can do it all at once. I had 3.73s with my 04 and 35's were a tough pull. They also brought my gas mileage way down. A buddy had 3.92s on his bowtie and they did pretty well. 4.56 might be a little tall.

I want to go with 4.10s...I just need somebody to wreck an R/T
