Does anyone know if there is a tire clearance difference between the 4x2 and 4x4? I have a 2008 Lonestar Quadcab, and it came with 275/60-20. Just wondering how much more room the 4x4's have.

Thanks, Lucas

Looks really good. Did you buy it with the towing mirrors? Or did you put them on later?

Looks great, although the tires look a little stuffed in the wheel well. Time for the 3" body lift!

Thanks for all the complements. The tow mirrors come with the thunder road package.
And I think I'm going to wait until I have the money for a 4 inch suspension because I reall hate body lifts, and I'm going to get step bars and they will look really dumb with a body lift.

TRUE TRUE, I personally would not put a body lift on my truck, but some guys on here have them and look really good. I would go Hammer's route of the suspension even though he says he does regret spending all that money on the suspension lift!

Shoot, when the hell did I say that? If you can link to a thread where I said it, I'll swear I was drunk as hell at the time. I've done three body lifts and now one suspension lift and I'll never do just a body lift again! Now if I'm ever able to replace my 1500 with a SFA 2500, I may do both and go really BIG.
But the suspension lift would come first.
Money well spent if you spend ANY time off-road. I used to think getting bounced around the cab was the price you paid for a lift and ground clearance - not no more!!!

No, my only regret was going from a '98 Dodge 1500 4x4 with a SFA and not giving a thought to the 3rd gens having IFS. If I had to do anything over again, I'd a forked up the extra $ and gotten a 2500 or better still forked up the extra $$$$ and gotten a CTD...
