Arrow Please read! EVERYONE!!!

There seems to be way too much repetative actions on this site as far as threads go. Please take a few minutes and use the search feature to get some information regarding everyday occurances. If you cannot find info there, than please post a new thread accordingly.

Here's a list of threads that should be reasearched before another one is posted as there is a ton of info out there:
Tires, Lift kits, Foglights, Lightbars, HID kits, Window tint, Cab lights, Stereo equiptment, CAI's, Catbacks, Gears and Lockers, FLUIDS, Debadging, Bedliners, Tonneau covers, Hitches and Towing requirements..etc... Mostly all the minor bolt on stuff has been exhausted.

Most of that information can be found through the stickies. There are many links that have been included inside of them by the moderators for everyone's convenience.

Please us the search function. You may find a faster easy solution to your questions that will otherwise clog up the Technical questions.

Starting new threads for Technical problems are perfectly legit. Asking which tire to buy over another has been hounded over and over again! There's gotta be atleast 5,000 tire threads on this website if you know what I mean.

And let's not forget MPG

A little research will either answer the question or allow you to ask one that will actually help.

Yeah, I agree. Starting a new thread for something technical would be OK. It's the same old "What Tires, What Muffler, What ???" threads that definitely clutter up the forum a bit. A quick search will do you some good.

you have an attitude all right. you've been on this forum for a month and your now telling people what types of questions that they can and cannot ask. i dont think youve been here long enough to be making these types of judgements for the forum.

if you see a thread that you feel has been "exhausted", skip it and dont reply to it. we covered this topic a short time ago and came to a conclusion. if you have a question ask it, if you see a question that has been exhausted skip it.

After the holidays I was planning on kinda re-doing the stickies for most common asked questions, making a little user friendlier format to obtain information on a host of products for all of our little mod projects. It was actually discussed at length by the moderators/admins about a month or so ago. With the holidays and all coming, it just didn't make much sense to start a pretty big project like that.
But YES, good point 'Dog, it's painfully apparent that most people don't ever bother with the search function...

The stickies will be fixed soon.

We never discourage anyone from posting qustions truck related in this section. If you do not want to read it do not open it. MPG, Tire, level, the subject should give it away.

Both search and posts are welcome on DF. Not everyone can use the search as efficiently as others.
