Time Chain...Please Help???
Do you have to change timing chains in an 03 dodge ram 1500...im at about 118K miles and i am starting to get concerned with whether or not i need to change it or if i ever have to change it. Please help ASAP

Thiers confusion betwean a timming chain and a timming belt.
They booth do the same thing, but timming belts are rubber, timming chain is metal.
V/8 domistics don't use timming belts, timming chains are stronger and don't need preventative mainatance where as a timming belt is rubber and is installed on allmost every 4 cy and v/6 forgin made engine.
When a timming belt breaks, your do for a new engine, on a dodge V/8, no timming belt and in the event your throw a timming chain, your engine will not start until repaired.
On my Toyota Seina, the belt was 75 bucks + 400.00 in labour...
