come on suspension guys!!!
why dont companys offer a lift for my 04 ram 1500 4x4 that is only 4" or 5" . i have looked all over superlift was the closest with a 5.5" . i think i need a 4-5" kit because any bigger will make my nitto mud grapplers 33x12.50-20's look small ya think???? finding a 6" kit is easy but i dont want to have to buy bigger tires and i dont really want a monster truck. just a nice clean lift . right now i just have a level kit (t-bar crank) but i want 4-5" more .
so my question is i guess.... what size lift should i go with that will not make the 33's look small and where the heck can i find it???? if a 6" wouldnt make my 33's look small id get that but it prob will . thanks guys .......im counting on your opinions ....? hammer??

Rancho, probably the strongest of the torsion bar 1500 4x4 kits is 4". I have it and it's available EVERYWHERE! A lot of places offer "special" on it periodically and include the Rancho shocks for free. Nice thing is, the 33's will still look OK, but it'll easily clear 35's if you want to step up in the future.
When I got mine, I got it from 4 Wheel Parts. Rancho was offering their awesome RS9000x adjustable shocks for free and 4 Wheel Parts was running a free shipping special.
Another advantage you'll enjoy is that the 4" lift will keep the angle of the CV's much closer to stock than a 6" kit would. Making the CV axles less likely to grenade on you if you push the truck a bit off-road.
Just off the top of my head 4 Wheel Parts, Performance Lifts & Rocky Mountain Suspension should all have it, but if you Google it, you'll find many places that sell it, it's among the more popular kits...
Just a note: Instead of putting a single "Hammer??" at the end of your posts, PM me - that's what it's for, plus I'm set up to get an email when you PM me...

Yeah, but I'm on my way out the door for a dinner date (first one with this chick). Not keeping her waiting, I just got out of the first long term relationship after my divorce (an ugly break up that made my divorce look like nothing). I like to help you guys as often as I can, but there have got to be priorities.
I'll get you up pix of mine with the lift and my old 33's as well as current 35's when I get back (which hopefully will be in the morning
)...
