get a programmer! exhaust, intake and programmer compliment each other very well. superchips 3815 or sct are great. sct is more for the guys looking to do internals ( cams, heads etc) if you talk to nick from airram he can set you in the right direction to get you what your looking for exactly.
i have a superchips 3815,flowmaster 40 muff, magnaflow y-pipe and volant intake and my 4.7 is a completely different truck than when she was stock. cant wait to do the efan, throttle body, headers and gears in the spring. then maybe maybe maybe in fall/winter do cams/heads (still unsure of the internals, trying to do all boltons first and see what she can do)

Yeah I will keep all the 4.7's out there updated..I rebuild the engine not too long after i bought the truck...it had a leaking head gasket...at the time being a student of a tech school and working for dodge....i replaced all 8 pistons (stock)...she got all new gaskets from bottem to top....a volent cold air intake...Jbl exhaust headers...stock cats followed by an exhaust cut out and that followed by 3 inch flowmaster exhaust system dumping behing each rear wheel...a programmer is propbably what i going for next as soon as get some money.....and to throw a locker in the rear diff. I like that air manifold conversion that airram had very cool...that is what i was excatly looking for.

Hey guys i have recently purchased an AFE Silverbullet Throttle Body Spacer, AFE Coldair Intake, and Hypertech Max Energy programmer. I havent had a chance to install yet because im deployed right now but i will let you know how everything works. I am also planning to put a FlowMaster Super 44 exhaust on it. Does anyone have recommendations for more power without tearing into the block as i only have 7000 miles on it.

electric fan and 180 thermostat would work good for you being in south carolina should free up 10-15 hp, get rid of the stock y-pipe and grab a nice set of headers. also look into get a new throttle body (check out thefastman.com) the throttle body spacer is a waste and will do nothing on these engines try to return it if you can. do all the bolt -ons first. i would however also look into regearing up from the what you have now ( probably 3.55/3.92) up to a 4.56, it will help get the power to the ground more efficeintly. with all those mods youll be in a totally different truck

Default Need some truck horns

Hey everyone looking to purchase some tuck horns like the big rigs have and wanted to know if anyone know any good web sites other that hornblasters. I have been looking but i want a really good pair. Just droped $525 on the truck this week to find out i have to spend another $490 on parts i need to get the horn to work and some other things that don't work to work. Looking to purchase the horns sometime next month. thanks for the help . I figure in stead of spending that money on trying to get the stock horn to work i rather get the sound of a big rig for less money.
