Default Question For All The 2007 Hemi Owners

So i am currently in the process of looking for a new/slightly used Dodge 2500. I have been scouring the internet and local dealers for something that will grab my eye. And I found one, A local dealership about 30miles from my house has a Demo 2007 Laramie Mega Cab Hemi 4x4 with about 6000 miles on it. Dealer wants $29,930, Was able to get them to knock $10,000 off the price. The price of $19,930 is only good till Jan.1. Ran a carfax on it, and it was never titled so I know its a demo.

Now my question to you all is, whats your average miles per gallon? My buddy has a 2005 1500 with the hemi and he says he is only getting about 8-9miles per gallon. The beast i am looking at has a 35 gallon tank, my old truck only had a 26 gallon tank and it wasnt too bad filling it up. I only drive about 5miles to work so im just seeing what the "Norm" gas mileage is? Thanks for your help.

I get anywhere from 11.5 to 16 depending on my tune and my driving. If I drove at 55mph-60mph all the time on flat ground I would get 17-18 but I drive 75-80 in the hills and get 12-13 usually, in town 12.

Mine is an 08 and I paid about 29K with 4 miles on it - not to mention the FULL lifetime warranty, not just the "internally lubricated parts"

For the warranty I sure hope that Chrysler gets the lifetime bailout....
