What kind of truck, 4x4 or 4x2? You interested in A/Ts, M/Ts or street/strip tires? Is your truck lifted, stock or lowered. A little input here might help, no sense in posting up picks of my 35" tires on 4.5" backspaced wheels if your truck is a lowered 4x2, now is there?

I'll make a recommendation. Forget the M/Ts, especially on a 2wd daily driver. Get an aggressive set of A/Ts. They'll last roughly twice as long on pavement.

Look at Mickey Thompson ATZs, a good aggressive A/T tread, very good longevity, great load rating.
My personal favorite wheel is the Dick Cepek DC-1, even though I have Mickey Thompson Classic II's. (were not out when I bought mine). Here are some pics:

+1 on the A/Ts.

I have wrangler silent armors and they are great, I have drove them 3+ miles on gravel a day and 20+ pavement for over a year and they look new, this picture is from about 2 weeks ago. They are awsome, but $$.

Mine's also a 4x2 that I like to take off-roading. 18" Ultra Wheel "Thunder" rims, 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers. You could definately get my setup for under $2k.
