Default Help

I have a 04 ram 4.7L, I'm trying to install an after market stereo
I bought a plug to fit the factory plug. I'm not getting any fire
from the always hot wire but I am getting fire from the red wire.
could I have blown a relay? I have check all fuses and all are good.
Also my interior light will not come on when opening door, but will
come on with the key on. Can anyone help me. Thank you

check under the hood at the fuses if it wasnt so cold out i would go get the # of the fuse to check. gotta be a fuse. or try turning the head unit on sometimes on install you have to manualy turn it on the first time.

You are probably going to hate hearing this but....the fuse for the radio isn't marked on the underside of the fuse box. you will see #21 is a 20amp that says radio amplifier. this fuse will take away the sound but not the power to the head unit. i do not remember exactly which fuse it is but you will have to go through 1-by-1. As far as the lights. mine do the same thing but it is because my driverside door accuator is burnt out and i have yet to replace it.

contrary to my first post it is marked. if this isn't blown then I have no idea but you could tap into the hot wire from your secondary cigarrett plug that is close to the floor the other one is hot in acc/ignition.

I checked all fuses 1 by 1 and they are all fine.
I think I will run the yellow wire from the plug down to the lower cig wiring.
Thank you all for the help.
