since the big bois at dodge wanted to charge me 522 big ones for a single cab carpet replacement, i decided to do it myself!.. i didnt get very far. Now, i feel really stupid asking this question.. but how do you take out the front seats?? i was able to get the two front screws off, but the two in the back only twisted about full rotation before being completely locked up. i looked under the truck and saw that the backing of the screws had a weird looking cap on it, but i wasnt sure if that was just a guide for the screws. any suggestions??
I have the QC, I can get the front bolts out no problem.. but the rear ones.. I can get them up about half way.. and can't budge them at all, not even with a half inch drive and a breaker bar.. then I looked underneath, sprayed the hell out of em with PB Blaster, and still nothing. There appears to be something underneath where the bolt breaks through the floorboard.. its like a circular thing that goes around the bolt, with 3 holes on it... Are you guys telling me the bolts just come out?
