Default dual exhaust

Hey everyone whats up, I have been looking into getting a dual exhaust and my question is would I be able to go to a Dodge dealership and ask them if they sell y-pipes? I'm not really sure where to look. I just want to redo the piping from the muffler to the back and I'm not sure what the inlet size for the y-pipe should be I'm thinking either 2.5" or 3"?

Any info helps
Thanks

I'm just guessing, but does Mopar carry performance parts that might be a replacement for your Y?

I've talked to a local muffler shop, and they can order aftermarket parts and replace the Y. Magnaflow makes a stainless one that is 2.5" in/3" out, and can be had on Ebay for around $35. Not sure if you'll find a better deal than that.

I believe the 5.7 uses dual 2.5" into single 3" from the manifolds.

hmm...I'll try looking around on ebay and some other websites to see what there is available out there..another concern for me that i just thought about is the gas tank and if that will be in the way of one of the exhaust pipes?

If you're doing duals out the rear, both pipes should go over the axle on the passenger side then to the back. Should not interfere with the gas tank.

Edit: I think the 4.7 y pipe is dual 2.25 to single 3 inch. Airram sells them.

I have duals out the rear and left pipe out left side, right pipe out the right side. No issues putting it in there, it clears the spare tire and everything.
