Just to let e1 know, there is an actual spot set aside for this in your garage. In your garage you can post up pics of your ride, show off your time slips while posting times, and post up all mods and changes to the truck from mud flaps to blowers. Then if anyone wants to see anything regarding your truck, they just click the "My Garage" link under you user name.

I'm not saying that you can't post here. You can still keep it here if you want for the 3rd gen'rs quick post, but you have more options in the garage.

Doing that would require everyone to click on everyone's link to their garage and then to probably find out they don't have any time slips?
I dunno, just the obvious it seems. Actually this topic doesn't come up that often from what I have seen. Is there an easier way to scroll through peoples garage's rather than do what I said above?

You could always post your times in your sig.

The purpose of the garage is for members to attach as much info/pics about them and their rides. This is the best way to get to know your fellow DF friends. There is no quick way to scroll through garage and know exactly what anyone has posted in it. The only thing you can do is click the photo gallery at the top of the page and it will bring up a list of all those that have active garages up. The bad thing is that there are 1000's to view.

As far as not knowing that there are slips posted in the garage section, remember, this is a truck section and there aren't very many members that run their trucks at the truck, just because it is a truck.

This topic has come up many a times and it dies out quickly in this section just for that reason, we drive trucks. There is a race section too that most people will post times and races. This topic will fall off and be forgotten in couple of days, then someone new will bring it up again in a couple of weeks.

No, but I would like to. I'm curious as to what it would run.

if you have a superchips 3815 programmer you can get an idea where you are at. can do 0-60 times 1/8th and 1/4 mile times and more

my 06 4.7 quadcab with the mods i have for a rough idea
1/8 - 10.16 *with some wheel spin)
havent done 1/4 times but if i had to take a rough geuss i would say high 15s to low 16s. its not a rocket but it moves good for a 6500 lb truck with a leveling kit 20 inch rims and 33 inch tires. keeps up with my bro in laws stock hemi no problem.

Best 1/4 Mile Time 15.55 @ 87.96 mph. This was over a year ago with Superchips 3815, Ram Hammer CAI and Corsa cat back exhaust.
